On October 14, the boys varsity soccer team played against Park Hill South. The game ended at half time due to thunderstorms, but Shawnee Mission East took the win with a score of 1-0. "I think we were the better team in the first half, we scored in a little over a minute which was good. We had also had a lot of chances as well in the first half, so we deserved the win," Junior Eren Eskinar says. The boys varsity team will now get ready to play Tuesday October 17 in the League Championship against Olathe Northwest.
