Gallery: Boys Varsity Soccer ties Olathe Northwest 0-0

After a double overtime with neither of the teams scoring, the SM East boys varsity soccer game against the Olathe Northwest Ravens ended in a 0-0 tie. In the first half, the Lancers maintained the majority of possession. Both the Lancers and the Ravens traded shots on goal back and forth, with the half ending in a 0-0 tie. The second half of the game was similar to the first, with the Ravens holding little possession, the Lancers struggled to capitalize on goal scoring opportunities. At the end of the second half, senior Hudson Bennish got a yellow card after a foul in the midfield. With both teams still tied 0-0, the Lancers went into overtime. Then, during double overtime both teams failed to score. After their first tie of the season, the boys varsity soccer record is now 5-1-2. 

The varsity boys soccer team will play their next game against Olathe West, on Tuesday Sept. 30 at Olathe District Activity Center at 7 p.m.
