Gallery: Boys Varsity Soccer Defeats Olathe West 3-0

The SM East varsity boys soccer team defeated Olathe West for the second year in a row 3-0 on Sept. 30. With 20 minutes left in the first half of the game, senior Stephen Hlobik scored the first goal for the Lancers. This gave the Lancers a 1-0 lead going into halftime. In the start of the second half, senior Carter Santa scored their second goal. This was followed by junior Henry Marien-Brovont scoring the third and last goal with only 11 minutes left in the game. At the end of the game the team gathered in a huddle and then lined up for the school song.

The varsity soccer team will play their next game against Lawrence Free State on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at Lawrence Free State High School.
