The Lancers took home a regional championship victory for the second year in a row after defeating Mill Valley 4-1 on Thursday, Oct. 26. Goals in the first half were scored by senior Alex Tiedt and junior Ben Perkins, the Lancers led Mill Valley 2-1 at the end of the first half. Going in to the second half seniors Beck Rettenmaier and Conor Neusel both scored raising the score to 4-1. Assists were made by senior Conor Neusel (2), junior JJ Paben and sophomore Stephen Hlobik. The team’s record now sits at 15-3.
The Lancers advances to the Quarterfinals and will play Olathe East on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. at SMAC.
