Gallery: Boys Varsity Soccer Defeats Mill Valley 3-1

Returning from a draw with a double overtime against SM West, the Lancers marked their first win of the season. The student section theme was Chiefs, with participating students in attendance wearing Chiefs jerseys.

After a battle of 90 minutes, the first goal was scored by senior George Hartman in the first half. Later goals were scored by juniors Stephen Hlobik and Carter Santa in the second half with senior Quinn McCarthy scoring two assists across the game.

Boys varsity soccer’s next game will be played against Lee’s Summit North at Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex on Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.
