Gallery: Boys Varsity Football Defeats Olathe South 49-35

Senior Jack Reeves scored six out the seven touchdowns at the varsity football game against the Olathe South Falcons. Reeves scored within the first six minutes of the game with the Lancers’ first possession. Reeves ran 71-yards down the field, scoring his third touchdown of the game. Sophomore Thomas Vanice scored the fifth touchdown of the game after catching a pass from Jack Reeves. The Lancers and the Falcons were tied with nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter before Jack Reeves scored his sixth touchdown of the game. In support of raising awareness for pediatric cancer, the theme was Gold Out. Cheerleaders wore gold shirts and bows and handed out pediatric cancer bracelets and pins to all fans to support the fight against cancer The Lancers record is now 4-1.

The boys varsity football team will play their next game against the Lawrence High School Chesty Lions on Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. at Lawrence High School.
