Gallery: Boys Varsity Defeats Gardner Edgerton 77-55

After a loss against East’s rival, Rockhurst, the lancers were able to defeat Gardner 77-55 on Tuesday Jan. 31. The lancers went from shooting 16-42 giving the lancers a 38% shot accuracy last Friday but were able to increase to a 47% shot accuracy for their next game. The lancers were lead in scoring by Senior Hudson Henzlik, going 7/13 in three-point shots, scoring 21 points for the lancers within a 16 minute playing period. The Lancers also tied their season high on Tuesday with 77 points scored and beating Gardner Edgerton for the second time this season. The boys play next on Friday Feb. 3 in an away game against Olathe North.

Ryan Dehan

Going into his second and final year on the Harbinger, senior Ryan Dehan is coming into the new year with new responsibilities on the staff. Now a Photo Mentor, Staff Photographer and Video Producer, Ryan will be able to work on videos with the video crew, as well as shoot big sports games, pep assemblies and more. When Ryan isn’t in the back room of the J room, he is playing football, working out, hanging out with friends or playing soccer. On top of Harbinger, Ryan is a SHARE Exec, Link Crew Leader and he plays varsity football and runs track. »

Audrey Condon

Heading into her final year on Harbinger as a staff photographer, senior Audrey Condon is so excited to see what the year has in store. When she's not spending every waking hour shooting a sports event or desperately finding names for a caption, she can be found nannying, working out, or front row at the Lancer sports games. Within the walls of East, Audrey juggles AP classes, Varsity Softball, Link Crew, NHS, and Pep Exec duties. In her free time you can find her curled up with a book or enjoying her weekends out and about with friends. »
