Gallery: Boys Varsity Basketball Falls to SM Northwest 76-40

Boys Varsity basketball battled against Shawnee Mission Northwest on Saturday Jan 15 resulting in a loss for the Lancers. From having the lead in the first quarter to only slightly trailing by halftime, the Lancers were down 76-40 by the end of the game. Varsity cheer captain Sam Herpich commented during the third quarter, “If we can get our defense back on track we could still potentially come back.” The boys next game will be a tournament at Valley Center High School starting at 6 pm.

Senior Julia Fillmore could not be more excited to start her second year on staff as a photo mentor. She is thrilled to jump right back into deadlines, hanging out in the J-room and just getting to go out and shoot. Along with Harbinger, Julia is also involved in tennis, swim, student store, DECA, Link Crew and SHARE. If she’s not doing one of those things, you can probably find her hanging out with friends, driving around, or in a Powerlife class. She can’t wait to see what the year brings! »
