Gallery: Boys Varsity Basketball Falls to Mill Valley 83-66

The Lancers fell to the Mill Valley Jaguars 83-66 on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. Senior Logan Verschelden was the lead scorer for the Lancers, scoring 18 of the team’s 66 points, all from three-point shots. The Lancers ended the first half trailing the Jaguars 41-29. Seniors Luke Bartalos, Sophia Beedle, Ellen Bowser and Maggie Condon were crowned Sweetheart royalty during halftime. Coming back from the half, the Jaguars continued to lead, 55-48. They went on to score an additional 28 points in the fourth quarter, securing their win against the Lancers. The team’s record now sits at 7-9.

The Lancers will play their next home game against SM West on Friday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m.
