On Senior Night, the boys’ varsity basketball team won big against Shawnee Mission North, 63-45. Senior night was held before the game, and each senior walked out on the court with their families. They were honored and they thanked their coaches and parents for supporting them. Each player was given a fathead of themselves.
The Lancers started off the game behind and lost the first quarter 14-10. They picked up their game during the second quarter, and only let in one basket. At halftime, Lancers were up 19-16. For the remainder of the game, the Lancers held pressure against North and continued to increase their lead. Sophomore Dillon Mong said, “I think we were all just having fun on the court because we knew we sealed the win”. By the end of the game, the Lancers won 63-45, a big win for senior night.
The team’s next game is on Tuesday Feb 23 at 7:00 pm against Olathe West. The game will be played at Olathe West.

Photo Editor Macy Crosser believes there is no better way to spend her senior year than capturing photos or proofing captions in the J-room for Harbinger! If you can’t reach her (and you probably won’t), Crosser is either at drill team choreo, Kansas City Ballet, AP and IB classes, NHS Service chair meetings, TCP President duties or at dive team. Good luck finding her! In any spare time she has, there is a good chance she’s watching the sunset while listening to Taylor Swift, Celsius in hand. »
