Gallery: Boys Varsity Basketball Defeats SM West 73-45

The Lancers defeated SM West 73-45 on Feb. 21, putting their record at 9-9 overall. The Lancers led the Vikings 12-8 at the end of the first quarter and were still up 35-15 by the end of the second quarter. During half-time the Lancer Dancers performed their game day routine. After, the 10 varsity cheer seniors were recognized during senior night. At the end of the third quarter the Lancers led the Vikings 51-34. After the win was solidified with a 28 point lead, and three minutes left in the game, the benched players were subbed in.

The Lancers next play on Tuesday, Feb. 25 against Olathe West at Shawnee Mission East at 7 p.m.
