Gallery: Boys Varsity Basketball Defeats St. Joseph Central 64-44

Junior Brooks Dillion scored 22 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead the Lancers to a 64-44 win in their first game of 2026 against the St. Joseph Indians in the 2026 winter high school basketball showcase.

The Lancers led 20-12 after the first quarter, with Dillion scoring 11 points on three 3-pointers in the period. In the second quarter senior Stephen Hlobik led the team with four points and was given a technical foul with 1:12 remaining before halftime. At the half, the Lancers took a 35-21 lead.

Dillion scored eight points in the third quarter, including two 3-pointers, as the Lancers added 16 points in the period to extend their lead to 51-35. The Lancers scored 13 more points in the fourth quarter, with Dillion making his sixth 3-pointer of the game. The Lancers defeated the Indians 64-44

The Lancers will play their next game against SM North on Friday, Jan. 9  at home in the main gym at 7 p.m.
