The Boys Swim and Dive team took third place in the Kansas 6A State Swim and Dive Meet on Saturday at the Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka, Kansas. This third place result marks the first time in four years that SM East has not won the state title. Senior Sebastian Bruck was the highest scoring competitor on the SM East team, with a total of 25 points. The second place high scorer was sophomore Andrew Fey with a total of 22 points. In the meet as a whole, the team performed strongly on all fronts, scoring 221.5 points, with Blue Valley North High School, the second place team, scoring 278 points. Coming in first at 280.5 points was Blue Valley West High School.
