Gallery: Boys Sophomore Basketball Falls to Mill Valley

In the first play of the game, sophomore Oliver Jones shoots a three pointer. The play was followed up by a layup from sophomore Chase Rolofson. The first quarter ended with the Lancers down 11-9. During the second quarter, sophomore Drew Stein makes a three pointer with 58 seconds left in the first half. Additionally, sophomore Benon Kusiak has shot three free throws. At the end of the first half, Lancers are down 26-21.

To start off the second half, Mill Valley makes a three pointer. At the end of the third quarter, the Lancers are down 35-27. During the fourth quarter, Sophomore Peter Hlobik got six baskets in six minutes, while Jones made 2 three pointers. Around the end of the game, a technical foul was ruled out on the coach with two minutes remaining. In the end, the Lancers lost 62-49.

As the game wrapped up, Jones made the most points with 16 points in the bucket. In second was Kusiak with 7 points. The boys sophomore basketball team has their next game Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Gardner Edgerton at 4 p.m.
