Shawnee Mission East hosted the boys JV wrestling mixer on Wednesday, Jan. 15 between Lawrence High School and SM Northwest. Two wrestling mats were set up in the aux gym and the matches began at 5 p.m. Altogether the Lancers competed in 50 matches, each match consisting of three two-minute periods. The winner is determined based on who has the most points at the end of the periods or if a wrestler is pinned for more than two seconds. There were no team places or points recorded in this event.
Boys jv will have their next meet on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 5 p.m. at Tonganoxie High School where they will face off against Mill Valley and Tonganoxie High School.
