Gallery: Boys JV Soccer Defeats SM North 2-1

Boys JV soccer team defeated SM North 2-1 in their last game of the season on Thursday, Oct 20. The two goals were scored by sophomore JJ Paben and junior Abdoulaye Kante. Head JV coach, Aren Wiesenflu, said that “My favorite part of the season was beating Olathe West when I wasn’t there,” and the most challenging part of the season was the last ten minutes of the game against Milly Valley, according to Wiesenflu. Sophomore Calvin Duske says, “I think that this season went really well; we lost to Mill Valley which was our only loss, but I think we lose to them pretty often. We lost to them last year as well, but other than that we were pretty solid.” The team ended the 2022 season with an overall record of 14-1-1.
