Gallery: Boys JV basketball defeats Shawnee Mission North 43-42

The boy’s JV basketball team defeated Shawnee Mission North 43-42 in a close game on Thursday, February 18. Leading the team in baskets, junior Sam Bruso scored a total of seventeen points. The Lancers were down 20-30 at half time. The game remained close until the fourth quarter when there was a four point difference. With less than a second left in the game, junior Will McClelland was fouled and given two free throws. After making both the lancers won the game 43-42. The team’s next game will be Friday, February 19 against Mill Valley.
