Gallery: Boys JV Basketball Defeats Olathe East 67-50

The Lancers finished the game defeating the Hawks who are currently standing at 8-10 record. On Feb. 10, the Lancers defeated the Olathe East Hawks 67-50. After the end of the first Quarter JV boys Basketball led 20-13. Seven of the twenty points were scored in the last minute of the quarter. The Lancers ended the second quarter up 44-23, this quarter was the highest scoring with 24 points for the Lancers. In the second half, the Lancers remained in the lead, finishing the third quarter 56-33. Jehle was the lead scorer up until the 4th quarter where junior Fritz Kostner and sophomore Will Verschelden tied with three points each. The Lancers had 21 two-pointers, and four three-pointers. The lead scorer was junior Chase Jehle with 21 points, nine of which were two pointers and one three-pointer. 

The next boys’ JV basketball game will take place at Mill Valley High School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12.
