Gallery: Boys JV Basketball Defeats Mill Valley 44-40

In a four-point difference, The Lancer Boys JV basketball defeated Mill Valley 44-40 on Friday, Feb 19. Two of the team’s starters were out, so the players were forced to compensate for their absence. Junior Braydon Mower was the leading scorer of the game. By the end of the first quarter, the Lancers were barely ahead at 14-13. At halftime, the Lancers were winning 22-18. At the start of the third quarter, the team had a major shift in momentum and went on an 8-0 scoring run. Keeping the intense energy for the remainder of the game, the boys finished in the lead with a score of 44-40.

The JV boys’ next game is on Monday, Feb 22 at 7:00 pm against Lawrence High School. The game will be played in the SME auxiliary gym
