After having to reschedule the game against Lawrence due to Covid-19 regulations, the Boys JV Basketball team defeated Lawrence 48-46 on Monday, February 22. At halftime, Lawrence had a lead of 3 points on the Lancers but in the third and fourth quarter the boys pulled through and scored 33 points while Lawrence only scored 28. The starting players for East were sophomores Hassan Sufi, CJ Leonard and Will Alexander and juniors Sam Bruso and Will McClelland. The top scorer of the game was junior Will McClelland with 20 points. The boys last game of the season was on Tuesday, February 23 against Olathe West.
