Gallery: Boys Freshman A Basketball defeats Olathe East 57-20

The Lancers took an early lead against Olathe East and by the end of the first quarter were up 13-8. By half time, the Lancers were up 28-10. Freshmen Zekiah Hardgraves and Tommy Trucksess were the leading scorers, scoring 10 points each. Following closely behind was freshman Brooks Dillion scoring nine points, all from behind the three point line. After half time, the Lancers held onto their lead, ending the third quarter 48-14. The Lancers defeated Olathe East 57-20. The boys freshman A basketball team now has an 8-4 record.

The Lancers next game is Thursday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. vs. Mill Valley at Mill Valley High School. Their next home game is Saturday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. in the SM East main gym.

Entering her second year on the Harbinger staff, sophomore Molly Scott is thrilled to be a Photo Mentor this year. When Molly isn’t taking photos or gallery checking for other photographers, you can find her at Chipotle every day after school, or sleeping any chance she gets. Molly loves chatting with her friends and being involved with many sports like soccer. At the end of the night you may even spot her crying about unfinished homework that is due the next day. »
