Gallery: Boys Freshman A Basketball Defeats Blue Valley West 64-36

The Boys Freshman Basketball A Team played against Blue Valley West on Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at SM East. Throughout the entire game, 38 fouls were called: 16 of the fouls were from SM East, and 22 were from Blue Valley West. In the first period, both teams scored, and the period ended with the Lancers leading 17-12. SM East continued to keep its lead over Blue Valley West throughout the second period, ending at halftime with a score of 37-21. The third period ended with the Lancers still ahead 57-28. As the minutes were counting down, Blue Valley West continued to attempt to score points, but East remained in the lead until the end. The final score of the game was 64-36.

The Lancers will play their next game against SM South on Jan. 26 at Shawnee Mission East High School at 6 p.m
