The Lancers took on Blue Valley North on Friday Dec. 8, in a rematch for the Championship Classic final from last year. The Lancers were going into the 2-0 on the season, both wins being from the Championship Classic. The Lancers were led by senior Teddy Saylor in this game with 32 points. Saylor went 14-23 from the field, 2-5 from three point range and 2-3 from the line. Junior Will Beck followed Saylor with eight points, being 3-8 from the field while also getting to the line four times, making two. The Lancers ended the tournament with three MVP’s which were seniors Blake Hanson, Teddy Saylor and Abdoulaye Kante. Senior Teddy Saylor was the tournament final MVP based off his performance and was the first to lift the trophy for the Lancers after their victory.
