In the Cross Country SM Northwest Regional, the boys’ team placed second and the girls’ placed third, both qualifying for State on Saturday, Oct. 23. To qualify for State, runners either have to place in the top ten individually or qualify as a team in the top three. Senior Grace Meyer placed first in the girls division, and juniors Wyatt Haughton and Caden Peters placed second and fifth in the boys’ division. The girls were unsure if they earned enough points to qualify for State, but were happy when the coaches announced that they placed third. After the races, the three individual runners that placed received medals, and the boys team received a plaque for earning second.

Going into her senior year as a Photo Editor, Rachel cannot be more excited for her final year on Harbinger. When she’s not taking pictures on the sidelines at a game or scrambling for a photostory design, you may find her playing volleyball, throwing in track, at a SHARE project or going on a QuikTrip ice cream run with friends. »
