Bollywood dance club teaches members about Bollywood dance and culture. The club meets every Monday to discuss culture such as language, food, and music, and every other Wednesday to learn Bollywood dances. On Monday, November 6, the club met to watch videos of dance competitions, and learn about the different types of Bollywood music and dance. The club leaders, juniors Anika Radadiya and Aakriti Chaturvedi, also demonstrated some Bollywood dance moves to the club. This year, junior Anika Radadiya says that though the club, they hope to “involve other people in what we love to do, and bring diversity to the school.” Throughout the year, they plan on teaching the club more about different languages and cultures in India, and teaching the club a dance to perform at a pep assembly.
