Gallery: Black Lives Matter Peaceful March and Rally

The SME Coalition club and KC Race Project organized a silent march on Wednesday, June 10th to stand up for black lives. Supporters marched from the Prairie Village Community Center to the Macy’s parking lot where community speakers and activists spoke to remember George Floyd and the countless other victims of police brutality. By organizing the march, Coalition club aimed to “bring awareness to the injustices that plague our nation’s institutions and to build local power to abolish violence against black communities.”
