Gallery: A Fentanyl Presentation was given to raise awareness with students at Shawnee Mission East during Seminar

Students at Shawnee Mission East had the opportunity to listen to speakers about fentanyl abuse and drug abuse during Tuesday's seminar. SME was visited by speakers Libby Davis and Jamie Katz on March 7. Davis was a parent of a child at Mill Valley High School who unknowingly took a drug with fentanyl in it as he was one of four students that took the drug and was the only one killed by the pills. Both Libby and Jamie travel to schools to raise awareness about fentanyl and how it is being put in drugs and students and professionals cannot tell by eye.
