Seniors of East are anxiously waiting for the emails that could determine the outcome of their futures. Whether the news is exciting or upsetting, these are the announcements that’ll change their lives forever.
With many East seniors committing to colleges, the class of 2022 — as well as parents — are eager to see their peers post-high school plans.
A way for seniors to spread the word on where they plan to attend college is the @smeast22 Instagram account.
The @smeast22 account is currently followed by 300 East seniors and has already posted 20 college announcements, with more to come. Each post on the account has a photo of the graduating senior, along with their name, where they are attending college and finally their major, if they have an idea of one already. As more kids commit to college, the account will upload more photos.
The @smeast22 account is a quick way for kids to find out what colleges their classmates plan to attend.
The account asks that any seniors who have determined their college plans to DM the account the information, so they can share it with their class and the rest of the school and community.
With the end of the school year approaching along with graduation, sharing your plans for the future with friends, family and classmates is the best way to stay connected for the future.
