According to Johnson County Community College (JCCC), the Kansas Board of Regents has removed the 24 hour limit on College Now courses. Students can now enroll in as many different classes as they want to, however some colleges may not accept these hours.
The deadline for JCCC College Now applications for the Spring semester is Friday, Jan. 24. The enrollment deadline for College Now courses is Friday, Feb. 7.
“Right now I have 20 hours and then I wanted to take English, which is two semesters of three [hours] but I can only take one,” senior Corinne Stratton said. “Now I can go into K-State with more credits.”
