The annual College Clinic returns Wednesday, October 11, and it once again looks to draw in quite a crowd of students throughout the district. East has been the home of the clinic for quite some time, and it has grown to become one of the largest gatherings of colleges in the area. Over 200 universities will be filling the gymnasiums, auditorium, and classroom, including the locals, KU, MU, and K-State, along with many others like USC, Wake Forest, Northwestern, Rice and Princeton.
Kelly Kendall, one of the leaders behind the clinic, believes that the clinic provides an invaluable resource for students and parents alike.
With a usual crowd of over 5,000 attendees, representatives form each school might be overwhelmed, but according to Kendall that is not the case.
“Reps are always saying that we are the best in the area, because our students always come prepared and full of questions,” Kendall said.
The clinic is set to start at 6:30 p.m. and end around 9 p.m.
