Breaking News: The FAFSA was released today

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid was released earlier today for the 2025-26 school year. Completing and submitting the FAFSA form is free and opens students up to federal financial aid programs, from grants to work-study to loans, according to studentaid.gov.

Completing the FAFSA as soon as possible maximizes a student’s chances of receiving as much financial aid as possible, according to collegeboard.org. The program can cover expenses such as housing, food, tuition and transportation.

To complete the FAFSA, students log in with their Federal Student Aid ID at studentaid.gov. Students will need their social security number, date of birth, full legal name, email address, mobile phone number and mailing address.
