Breaking News: SHARE executives announced

Next year’s SM East SHARE executives were announced yesterday.

After 20 interviews, the eight SHARE executives for next year are juniors Georgia Boyd, Bella Broce, Sawyer Chapman, Davis Eakes, Vivian Fraley, Luke Taylor, Maile Tormohlen and Charlotte Wissel.

The applications opened in late February. The executives and the advisors of SHARE reviewed the applications, held an individual interview for each applicant, and discussed and chose the executives.

“I’m extremely happy. I really wanted [the position] super badly.” Tormohlen said.

The future executives were woken up this morning to music being blasted on a speaker by a current SHARE executive and were then informed that they had gotten the position.

Afterwards the current and future executives went out to breakfast at First Watch before school started.

The future SHARE Executives have their goals in mind for next year. According to Taylor, one of the goals is to expand SHARE’s recognition across the East community.

The future executives are excited to begin.

“It’s a great opportunity, I’m excited to get to work.” Eakes said.
