Breaking News: Cheer placed sixth at NCA nationals

The competition cheer team placed sixth in the U.S. at the National Cheer Alliance national competition in Dallas, Texas on Jan. 21. 

Cheer left for nationals on Jan. 19 for their first year ever attending the competition. 

Cheer performed twice, their first performance was on Saturday at 6:47 p.m where they placed fifth out of eight teams, before heading into their final performance on Sunday at 7:40 p.m.

“When we placed sixth we were so proud of ourselves,” junior Eve Tollefson said. “Especially because it’s our first year going to nationals and we’ve worked very hard since the summer to get this routine ready.”
