Breaking News: Bachelorette cast released

The 31 men starring in season 16 of The Bachelorette on ABC were released on Sept. 29 on ABC’s Bachelor Nation YouTube channel.

In a 30 minute video, Chris Harrison, the host of The Bachelorette, introduced the men that will star in the upcoming season. Harrison introduced the men, along with their age, hometown and occupation.

Due to the coronavirus, filming was postponed for over two months, and began again in mid-May. The filming will take place at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, California due to traveling restrictions, and they are unable to travel to other countries.

Several East students watch the Bachelorette, throwing watch parties on Monday nights. Junior Sadie McDonald was disappointed when it was originally postponed, so she’s looking forward to the premiere on Oct. 15.

“I’m stoked for The Bachelorette,” McDonald said. “The show really brings people together. People that I wouldn’t really talk to, I can talk to them about what’s going on with the show and all the drama.”
