Q: How has your cross-country season been so far?

A: “[I’ve enjoyed] getting to know all of my teammates and just having friends in the upper classes too, which is good, and just running which I enjoy.”
Q: What are you looking forward to this season?
A: “I’m looking forward to our district championship in two weeks which I’m looking forward to performing at and possibly winning. And then the state championships which are in four weeks and we want to qualify for.”
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: “Making state individually and as a team would be good. I want to break 16:30 by the end of the year and winning district would be awesome too. Those are kind of the main goals on my mind, and [also] possibly placing at state.”
Q: How have you prepared for cross-country at East?
A: “I did summer running which was a lot of mileage which kind of prepared me for the mileage we do here. “
Q: How are the relationships you’ve formed on the team?
A: “They’re all positive with my senior captains, junior captains and the other guys. Everyone that’s on Varsity, and even JV and c-team, [are] super nice and kind to each other so it’s a good experience.”
