East PTSA will host the annual graduation after party on Tuesday, May 14 from 9 to 12 p.m. directly after the graduation ceremony in the East gym to celebrate the end of high school.
Seniors will have the chance to spend time with their class for the last time while playing carnival and casino games for prizes such as TV’s, cash or Airpods.
“I am excited to spend one last night with the senior class because we are all going different places and won’t know when we will see each other again” said senior Sarah Grimm.
A cash vault, ski ball, hula hoop toss, pigtona speedway, wrecking ball and zero gravity will all be set up in the gym and could earn seniors a chance at some of the prizes offered. All prizes and games are courtesy of east families. Each year families are encouraged to make a donation to the party so that each year’s seniors can have the best prizes.
“I think it’s a fun and a safe place that kids can all be together for their last official school activity and I think the kids really look forward to it,” PTSA member Laura Goettsch said.
