The auditions for the 2015 Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA) All-State Band, Jazz Band and Orchestra have concluded and the results have been announced. Twenty-eight East students, 15 from band and 13 from orchestra, attended auditions last Saturday. The results were announced yesterday, and 21 East students were selected.
“Making All-State Band last year was great,” senior flutist Rachel Kim said. “But I’m excited to be in the Orchestra this year, because I get to play with both talented wind musicians and string musicians.”
