The evening of the 29th, students within the International Baccalaureate program gathered for their annual banquet to celebrate all of the students and teachers involved in IB. After eating and mingling, the seniors presented a slideshow compilation of photos, inside jokes, memorable GroupMe quotes, memes and “most likely to’s,” as well as a video montage. Then seniors took turns with the microphone to thank teachers for all they have done and to give them special gifts. Lastly, Mrs. Goodeyon, the IB coordinator, presented the class of 2018 and announced the college commitments for next year. These upcoming graduates also received stoles bearing the IB logo to wear at graduation, with the goal of these exemplary students standing out from the crowd just as they deserve.
