The East forensics team placed first in sweepstakes out of 20 schools at their tournament at Olathe Nothwest last weekend, and they also competed at Blue Valley Southwest. East had a successful weekend at the Mock Trial Regional Competition.

The mock trial team placed third at the state tournament in the Sedgwick County Courthouse. The squad also qualified four students to the state tournament in other events.
