Students Qualify For Forensics, Debate Nationals

At the conclusion of the 2014 forensics season, a total of 12 students qualified to the Forensics and Debate Nationals tournament in Chicago from May 23 through May 25. There were six students from each season that qualified for the event. During debate season, juniors Ali Dastjerdi, Shrusti Mehta and Henry Walter and seniors Karl Walter, Ada Throckmorton and Utsa Ramaswami qualified. The forensics qualifiers were juniors Becca Zeiger, Jackson Bonk and Jack Eddy, senior Erika Levy and sophomores Megan Gertzen and Tyler Armer.

Besides qualifying six students for nationals at the Kansas City National Catholic Forensic League tournament over the weekend, the team also participated at the SM North tournament.
