East DECA students participated in the state competition from Sun., March 2 through Tue., March 4. The competition was hosted at the Marriott in Overland Park. At the end of the competition, 25 East students placed in the top three percent of their competitors and qualified for the International DECA Competition. The International competition will be held in May and will host 20,000 competitors from seven different countries.
Besides qualifying for internationals, junior Noah Marsh was also elected the Kansas DECA Vice President.
