School was cancelled on Monday January 10th, and Tuesday January 11th due to beautiful Kansas winter weather. Temperatures dropped and wind speeds rose late Sunday night as the storm rolled in. The entire greater Kansas City metro area woke up to around 6 inches of snowfall, which ultimately cancelled classes for everyone. Fellow Lancers still came up to SM East to sled down the hill on the west side of the building over the much needed 4 day weekend. And some kids even found time to hang out, make hot chocolate, and throw snow balls at each other.
