Who knew that buying a bagel and a muffin could contribute to a better cause. On Thursday, Nov. 14, East students will have the opportunity to support the Johnson County Christmas Bureau (JCCB) through the Panera in Corinth Square. Panera will donate a percentage of their profits to the Student Council who will then donate all the proceeds to the JCCB based on the number of fliers they receive between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Students must present the flier at Panera in order for the money to be donated.
“I think it’s a great place to do a fundraiser because we all eat there anyway and it’s priced well,” senior Jordan Hall said. “I think it will raise a fair amount of money for the Johnson County Christmas Bureau. It’s a good way to end your Thursday night.”
