Tonight the 2014-2015 Lancer Dancers team will perform together for the last time. The performance takes place at 7 p.m. in the auditorium, and tickets are on sale for $8 before the show and $10 at the door. The JV and varsity teams will perform their dances from earlier in the year, including their Nationals Lyrical and Hip Hop dances. There will also be individual performances from each of the seniors in their favorite style, and dances choreographed by each of the grades.

The show is the final performance for the team, but it is also the final dance performance for most of the seniors. The night is traditionally emotional for the close-knit squad, which placed second at Nationals this year.

“I don’t know how to put into words what this night means to us,” senior Emma Matthews said. “I’ve gone through four years of school with such a supportive group of girls behind me, and it’s hard knowing this is our last night together, and my last night dancing. It’s something I won’t ever have again, and it’s hard, because there’s nothing like dance. I’m going to miss this.”
