The yearbook published in 2007-2008 held the new theme of “Sketch,” a theme that represented creativity and new ideas. Below is the yearbook as it was published, the 50th edition, in order of publication of the Hauberk. The sections are split because of the Issuu server’s memory limitations.

About the Author: The Harbinger is the exclusive student-run newspaper of Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village. Staffed by approximately 60 dedicated super-students and overseen by adviser C. Dow Tate, the paper has won numerous national awards.
The Harbinger is published in print every two weeks and its Web site edition is updated daily.
The Web site edition includes blogs, live video, photo galleries and stories not published in the print edition of the paper.
This year has also seen the launch of a Web site run by the student photographers of the newspaper and the yearbook staffs. Updated daily, www.smephotos.com allows visitors to purchase prints of high-quality photos at low rates of numerous East events.
