Gallery: Girl’s Basketball Tryouts

This week, tryouts for all winter sports were held. Girl’s basketball held tryouts Monday through Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. in the aux gym. Girls from all grade levels interested in playing basketball  came and participated in the drills run by Lauren Lawrence, head basketball coach, and Coach TJ.

Returning JV and Varsity players came to the court well prepared after months of conditioning, but still a little nervous. “Being an upperclassman now and knowing Coach Lawrence, there were definitely less nerves than last year,” returning varsity player Caroline Blubaugh said. “I guess I was more excited than nervous to see what team everyone would end up on at the start of the season.”

Teams were announced Thursday night after tryouts wrapped up.
