Gallery: Can Drive Pep Assembly

Students gathered on Thursday for the can drive pep assembly during seminar. Each activity was related to the can drive, canned food taste test, canned food relay race and a ‘Can-Can’ performance by the Lancer Dancers. East is competing against the other Shawnee Mission Schools to collect a goal of 10,000 cans for the next three weeks with donation competitions between soccer and football, dance team and cheer, and Hauberk and Harbinger. Because the students brought in 1,000 cans, senior and student body president Denny Rice volunteered to wax his legs.
