Gallery: Boy’s Soccer Blue and Black Scrimmage

The East JV and Varsity soccer teams played against each other in their annual scrimmage last Friday. The game, started out the first half with a score of 0-0, and by halftime the score hadn’t changed. The second half remained the same score, until senior Christian Jesperson took a shot on goal and scored. In the final minutes of the game, another varsity player took a shot on goal and scored as well. The final score was 2-0, and the varsity team won against the junior varsity team.

Audrey also does photography in her free time while hanging out with friends. This year will be her third year on staff and she is excited to meet new staff members and continue making new memories. »

Morgan Plunkett

Morgan Plunkett is a senior at Shawnee Mission East and she is a staff photographer. This will be her second year on the Harbinger staff. Outside of newspaper, she enjoys music and takes part in the Choraliers choir. She is very excited to take part in exciting stories and projects! »

Reilly Moreland

Reilly Moreland
Reilly Moreland is a junior in her second year of staff and is the Assistant Photo Editor. Aside from taking pictures for Harbinger, Reilly is involved in Pep Club, STUCO, and Tennis. »

Katherine Odell

Katherine Odell is a senior at Shawnee Mission East and this will be her second year on staff as a staff photographer. In addition to Harbinger, Katherine is involved in Share, and a member of Deca. She enjoys spending her free time hanging out with friends, eating spin pizza, or binge-watching netflix. Katherine can’t wait for the year ahead and to meet new staff members. »

Hadley Hyatt

Hadley Hyatt is a sophomore at Shawnee Mission East and this will be her first year on Harbinger Staff. Hadley is a photographer and is excited to be a part of The Harbinger. In her free time Hadley loves volunteering at Operation Breakthrough, drawing and hammocking. Hadley can’t wait to get to know everyone on staff this year. »

Izzy Zanone

Izzy Zanone is a senior at Shawnee Mission East and is the photo mentor and SMEphotos.com editor. This is her second year on staff and she is excited to start the year. If you cannot find her in room 521, you may find her in the auditorium rehearsing for the musical or in the choir room. She is also involved in SHARE projects and is a Link Crew Leader. Izzy is very excited for this upcoming year and all that it has in store. »

Lucy Morantz

Lucy Morantz
Lucy Morantz is a senior going into her third year on staff. Outside of Harbinger she is co-president of Young Democrats Club, on the Coalition Board, Student Voices co-founder, and in art club. In the off chance she is not shooting an event or editing pictures, she is likely in bed listening to music. »
