Forensics Wins Fifth In Salina

The forensics team competed in Salina against 30 other teams and came out in fifth place in sweepstakes. Seven students qualified for state and five received Tournament of Champions bids. The Tournament of Champions is a nation-circuit competition that is held in St. Peter, Minnesota from May 9 to May 11.

Finalists:

Bridgette Beasley – First place, state qualified and Tournament of Champions bid
Megan Gertzen and Tyler Armer – First place in duo, state qualified and Tournament of Champions bid
Alec Armer and Sam Bernard – Second place in duo, state qualified and Tournament of Champions bid
Jackson Bonk and Jack Eddy – Third place in duo and Tournament of Champions bid
Claire Gibbs – Second in oration, state qualified and Tournament of Champions bid
Justin Armer – Fifth in prose and state qualified
Bridgette Beasley – Sixth in prose and state qualified
