Football Update

The Lancers defeated the Shawnee Mission North Indians last week, making their record 8-1, and secured their third straight district championship. The team allowed North to pass for around 200 yards, but managed to win 56-34.

“The game was a lot closer than it should’ve been,” senior Jack Tyler said. “But we still played hard and we were able to finish strong and get a win.”

Tonight, the team will face off against Blue Valley Northwest at Shawnee Mission North. With a win, the Lancers will secure another Regional Championship, and move onto the next round of the playoffs.

“Tonight is obviously a huge game, it’s do or die,” Tyler said. “We are all expecting a huge win, and another regional title.”
